1. What is RS-Helix?
RS-Helix is a software for the analytical calculation and 3D construction of elastic metal springs.
Standard springs:
Standard springs (compression springs, tension springs and torsion springs) can be calculated, recalculated and constructed in three dimensions.
In addition, any wire form springs and stamped and bent parts can be constructed.
The ease of use is particularly useful when entering requirements for the springs.
After each entry, the missing requirements are automatically checked and the results are calculated in advance.
Requirements that are no longer necessary due to the previous entries are hidden.
Wire form springs:
Formed wire springs and stamped and bent parts can be comfortably designed in 3 dimensions without CAD knowledge.
RS-Helix is offered in two versions:
'RS-Helix Lite' and 'RS-Helix Pro'
'RS-Helix Lite' can be downloaded and installed free of charge after registration.
'RS-Helix Pro' is chargeable and can be ordered after registration.
Requirements for RS-Helix:
- Windows 7/8/10 and newer
- RAM 500MB
- HDD 200MB
- Graphics card: Directx 9 and newer or OpenGL
2. What can I do with RS-Helix?

9.3 Start the included RS-Helix-Installer.exe
9.4 Follow the instructions of the installer.
